陈红霞女士是中国第一代服装设计师，1983年毕业于北京中央工艺美术学院服装设计专业。她曾在中国多个城市服务及创办自己的服装公司，并任教于深圳大学、广州大学等高校，是多个校企的客座教授/ 特聘专家；曾多次举办时装发布会并获得“中国首届青年服装女装设计一等奖”。早年在广东多家媒体开设时装专栏，著有《深圳女装设计》一书。
1999年，陈红霞移居美国，师从著名打版师Mr. Umberto Manzo学艺近五年，并在纽约时装技术学院进修。她在美工作26年，为Coach、Oscar de la Renta、Ralph Lauren等约30个知名品牌担任高级打版师。
近十余年来，陈红霞回国传授40余年的中外服装经验，培训国内80余家服装院校及企业单位。她还著有《美国立体剪裁和打版实例》（上下册），并于2020年及2021年先后创建聚裁缝公众号及“陈红霞时尚课堂”和广州美千衣曼服饰设计有限公司。
陈红霞心怀志向，更致力于中外校企分享及传播时尚知识和技术，培养更多国际型服装技术人才。
Ms. Chen Hongxia is one of the first-generation fashion designers in China. She graduated in 1983 from the Fashion Design program at the Central Academy of Arts and Design in Beijing. She used to have her own fashion company and teach at universities such as Shenzhen University and Guangzhou University. Now She is a guest professor in many universities and a specially-invited expert for numerous corporations.
She has held multiple fashion shows and was awarded the First Prize for Women’s Fashion Design at China’s First Youth Fashion Competition. In her early years, she wrote fashion columns for various media outlets in Guangdong and authored the book "Fashion Design of Shenzhen Women"
In 1999, Chen Hongxia moved to the United States, where she studied under the renowned pattern maker Mr. Umberto Manzo for nearly five years and furthered her education at the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) in New York. She worked in the U.S. for 26 years, serving as a senior pattern maker for approximately 30 well-known brands, including Coach, Oscar de la Renta, and Ralph Lauren.

Highlights of my experience as a designer
Over the past decade, Chen Hongxia has returned to China to share her over 40 years of domestic and international experience in fashion, training more than 80 fashion schools and enterprises across the country. She is also the author of “The U.S. Draping & Pattern-Making Technologies” (Volumes I & II), and in 2020 and 2021 respectively, she established the "Jucai Feng" public account, the "Chen Hongxia Fashion Class", and Guangzhou Meiqian Yiman Fashion Design Co., Ltd.
Driven by passion and vision, Chen Hongxia is committed to fostering international talent in fashion technology and actively promotes the exchange and dissemination of fashion knowledge and techniques between Chinese and global academic and industrial communities.
